Wow! That is beautiful. Sounds like an interesting class ahead.

Gorgeous hat Mike.

Great looking Whippet, Mike. Lot of good history in that region. It always amazed me how Israel and the Jewish people struggled and stood for thousands of years while greater and more powerful Empires throughout the history of that region rose and then crumbled to dust. They rose and fell and Israel still stands. Should be a very interesting term for you. Enjoy.

That is a beautiful looking hat, that you have on there, today.

Thanks Red. It's still my favorite suit. And the hat ranks pretty highly too.

That is a super looking Whippet. Wish I had one like that.

Thanks Perry. Wish I had one of those classy 25 OR's to go with it.

Thanks all,
Michael

I need one of these to add to my Stetson collection.

That's a beauty Mike.

Thanks everybody. This Whippet is directly related to our long lost Bob, he was the one who pushed me into calling Candy at the Outlet. I got the last of these "Japanese prototypes". Sadly this exact model will only be available there.

The class I'm taking will really be interesting. We are looking at how museums in both America and Israel interpret the Jewish history that was under represented until recently. I'm planning to write a research paper on how Jewish pioneers in Oregon need to be represented. Additionally, the Chinese in the Willamette Valley in the 1880s. Close to home museum stuff. I'm such a geek...

Great picture! You know, you could wear earmuffs to help with that "turtle in a shell" look. Really cool band on that one, the light really shows the colors.

Giving a Stetson 6X another try:

Impressive, a real head turner. Acres of brim and crown.

Nice looking slimbrim Ivan. You wear this style well. My brother-in-law teaches at Fresno State and lives in Clovis. We get down there on occasion. I'll buy you a beer.

Great look Michael!
Thanks Bob. I'm a big fan of fair isle and tweed, and hats.

The Garland Outlet had some in stock a week or so ago (no phantom gray tho). I posted some photos of a black one He Who Shall Not Be Named bought there. He also picked one up in Natural.

Perhaps you should give Candy a ringy-dingy.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Unfortunately my current finances couldn't even cover shipping. So I'll have to settle for dreaming. Thanks for the info.

That is a great hat. The brim stitching is a treat to see.
