From the Hats Not Worn Much Department, a Royal Stetson from the early 1960s. One of my early gets when I began this "hat thing." I now gravitate to taller, blockier crowns and much wider brims. However, my wife found this one at an estate sale and was proud of her find, so I'll never get rid of it.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
I agree with Ant, these late 50s almost stingy brims are a vibrant part of our hat history. You look good love the lines and felt.

We finally are getting a little more winter cold before the great thaw. Decided to give the camel overcoat another run with my Echter Borsalino in Dattero to top it off. I still need to get to my Haberdasher to have some tailoring done (sleeves are a little long...). The nice thing is this one will fit over a suit coat with no problem.

In honor of the first hard freeze of the season, a fulled wool cap I made a couple of years ago.

I made it out of a couple of old coats including a wool cashmere number that I wish I had back as it would have fit me again.

And some old school Woolrich deer hunting togs.

I hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start. I'm finding mine quite entertaining so far.

Love that hat Esther.
Super fine Borsalino today Daniele
Man, that's a nice OR Moon. I need me one of those.
Nice one Jeremiah. Hope the adventure is exciting.

Hey all!
I'll join Fruno in the Hats Not Worn Much department with this Stetson Twenty-Five from the mid 60's. I bought this when I was a bigger fan of the slimmer brims. It has great felt, just not quite enough of it with a short crown and brim just a hair shy of 2". The brim treatment is not specified, so I'm not sure if it's Mode or the later glued version of the Selv-Edge.

It has the transitional keyhole tag. Tag has tiny union label printed on back.

This one fits nicely under an umbrella, which I need today. Thank goodness for some much needed rain!
Have a great day!

Yep, some of my early hat purchases were 2" brim Dobbses. :)

Lotta nice looking lids on display this afternoon. Hope everyone's having better weather in your neck of the woods than we are here in the Central part of Buckeye Country. Overcast, wet, and drizzly here today.
Broke out my Navy Blue Resistol 3X Western conversion for today, a gift from Michael R. Except for the sweat I reused all that was original to the hat in this conversion. The outside pics are closer to the hat's actual color...

Nice look on you. Everyone should break out a slim brim from time to time.
