Because the picture doesn't show the bow very well, here's a side view of it (don't worry the feather has gone).

Clearly, you know it’s green, but I suspect you don’t know just how green it is! That’s really green!

How to choose from that selection? I’ve narrowed my choices down to the Borsalino Gorasgu Palladio, the Staalmeester lords hat, and the Wormser, followed by the beautiful green Borsalino.

Thanks, Gary. If I squint a bit I can make myself believe it's more grey than green ;)

Here's the Stetson logo on Alan's sweatband as shown in the 1900 Catalog . This logo was used on Flange hats and Novelty hats of $30 and up per dozen.
Flange hats…now that’s a new one on me.
I’ve heard of Fray hats and flanges on hats. Alan’s does have a nice flange though.

Borsalino with a super soft delicate hand. Not velveteen, but really nice. View attachment 594046 View attachment 594047 View attachment 594048
Wooooo that is one nice Borsalino. Love the look.

Have a great day!
Really nice Rainbow.

Stetson - Mayser Excellent "Skyway", possibly late 1950s. This is a recent arrival. Mayser acquired the Stetson license for Germany in 1954.

Excellent indeed, Steve.

Skip-bo (card game) day with the folks. I wore my new 30s style Kings Umbrella hat for this high-stakes game. No matter who won, we all had hot dogs for dinner!

I’ve got no cooler weather clothes to match this bright hat, so i went with a clashing wardrobe.

5-3/4 inch crown, dimensional brim.

Man that is a head turner for sure. Congratulations on the new brim.

Loads of catching up to do after my trip to Australia. Only one hat for me over that time, though. I had an Akubra Blue Mountains waiting for me at the hotel when I arrived. Since I was the photographer, I haven’t got photos of the hat for the trip. I just put it on for some pics today.
The big brim and the front and back dip provided excellent protection from the severe Melbourne sun for my ears, nose and neck.

Etsuko chopped off the top of the hat in this photo, but I love the swoop from this angle, so I’m adding it anyway. View attachment 594171
love this new hat for you, Gary. Great shape.

Looks great!

I don’t even know how I could begin to pick a favorite from this week! All three bound brim hats are wonderful.. the green is spectacular.

Wonderful shade of green on the Borsalino, Stefan. Deserves a place in the Green Hats Thread.

I'm going to go out on a limb and pick the Rothschild heather as my favourite of the week. Great compact shape to it and eye catching ribbon and bow treatment.

Thanks, gentlemen. Here's to hoping for some sunshine to show them off even better.

My first choice would have been The Lock & Co, it's magnificent.

The Rothschild, however, just edges it. Fabulous hats as always Stefan.

The Gamble & Gunn bespoke goes well with this blazer, it's what I wore to church this morning. Later, I treated Tina to lunch at The New Queen pub/restaurant. https://www.thenewqueen.co.uk/
