I'm not to clear on his point either but he has some crazy idea that for his wedding he is going to wear some spectators with a suit but he is refusing to wear a tie.

So me and his fiance have been trying to convince him that no tie is a bad idea. I told him that if he doesn't wear a tie he should get a nice shirt at the very lest that isn;t just plain white or something. He came up with something called the humug.

Don;t even think it's retro but this is the only sartorial forum I know of (bar port halcyon which seems out of commission).

He says ties are too establishment.
