Rightly so, a Powerful film, one McQueen should have won an Oscar for. I saw this when it first came out in the 60's.
An outstanding cast Richard Attenborough, Richard Crenna, and Mako (Po-han) and others, set in 1926 during the Chinese Boxer Revolution U.S. Gunboat, a definitive McQueen performance, I love the early history of U.S. Navy (also check out 55 Days in Peking) ;)
