Would like to find a hat like this:

This is my dad in 1995 or 1996, wearing a fedora-ish style hat. It's not a classic fedora nor is it a hipsterish fedora (given he was wearing it in '95 as a middle aged man, long before hipsters thought of wearing hats. It also is not the same style as hipster fedoras). I'd love to find it or something similar.

It's really hard to see the hat, but if it's not a fedora, then it's probably a trilby. And if neither, then I'm not sure what it is.

I'd certainly associate that kind of ribbon design with a trilby, though the brim seems too large for a trilby.
It also looks a little bit like some kind of bucket hat (which were quite popular in the mid-90s)

I think your best bet would be buy a pale fedora and look for the ribbon separately.
