Big Shapo Day

Adam Executive, Olive, $7.95 original price (original price tag attached) . The hat is minty felt with a bit of cloudiness to the liner (not from wear, but age). Wind Trolley attached. The felt (hat material) is smooth, with a fine nap. When you get close enough to see the details it looks very luxurious, IMO. The ribbon is big and shows no wear or age - sharp. My first hat with a ribbon of this size. The leather band is uncreased and generally looks barely used. It really makes me treat the big boy gently.

The brim and hat size, while bigger, fit comfortably in my car from Gottenburg, Sweden. Plenty of room. I had to run an errand in my wife's smaller German auto and the hat and I were not comfortable. Hmmm....I had not planned on hat selection being determined by auto selection. I will obviousely have to check out my hats in our different models. Ultimately I will have to consider buying autos to style/color coordinate with my hat of choice. Now, which hat is my fav??

Take a gander at my "big shapo:

I noticed that both of the bows on your hats are one the right side... I though they were supposed to be on the left?

aah... the mystery is a reflection of the truth!

With Alan's photo talent, the double image here couldn't possibly be due to him blurring focus or or moving the camera while the shudder is open-- I think he's too careful for that!
Only one other possibility comes to mind... When you're brushing your teeth tonight, extend a hand to the guy on the other side of the sink, but don't get turned into a flower!

One of the proudest days of my life deserved a hat to go along with it-- I got to accompany my oldest daughter in her school talent show this afternoon, while my youngest daughter stole the show in her opening night of a 3 week run of "Annie." Had to go with the St. Regis today.

Oblique mirror shot picks up a little front surface reflection on the glass.

Pictures to follow, I hope?!

Eric: Impressive Adam!

Seth: That Fed IV looks great on you!

Alan: On behalf of Corky, my hat, and myself, I thank you, kind Sir! That 7X beaver is some luscious felt. Beautiful and always a pleasure to see!
