I don't know what's for dinner yet, but I did just inhale two bundles of steamed asparagus covered in butter with a smattering of pepper.

And well worth inhaling! Love asparagus sauted, as well.

Tonight was tenderloin steak with mashed potatoes, mushrooms as well as sauted green peppers and onions. Now I really need my evening walk.

I gotta lotta respect for you folks that can go through all that to lose weight. I've dropped about 60 lbs and would like to drop another 40, but the colder months are never a good time to even think about it. I haven't even been outside my house in two days lol Not a good time to think about weight loss!

Wow, way to go! Losing weight is like pulling teeth, and to drop that much outstanding~ keep up whatever it is you're doing!

Thank you! Summertime is the key. The warm weather seems to kill my appetite and gives me the ability to be outside and being more active. I'm very busy in the summer, mowing lawns, working on the houses, and the cars, and all that fun stuff.

That is why people refer to a Summer weight and a Winter weight. :p Not so much here but it does get cold and rainy enough here to keep you idle.

Definitely a difference between summer and winter weight here. Very active in the summer what with having summers off while during the school year, I am at work between 7:00am to 6:00 pm Mon. thru Fri. Spring and more daylight at least encourages more physical activity than the dreary days of winter.

Well, bbq ribs are probably considered summer fare, but in honor of the Super Bowl we are having smoked ribs, slowly smoked in the smoker, fresh coleslaw and quacamole with chips. Homemade chocolate cake tor dessert.
