That's quite a shame! I'd start an all out hunt for the whiskey poacher...Here's a curious little story. I'm a non-drinker. Last night, due to some particularly grievous news I decided to have a little nip from my father's old flask (pictured). It contains years old Jim Beam Bourbon and hasn't been opened in years. I grabbed a shot glass and commenced to pour a dram. Out came a very thin amber liquid not at all as I had envisioned. I sniffed it and had a taste. Well, to my surprise what I had in my glass was a well watered bourbon too weak to even consider drinking. It appears that over a period of years (the flask has been on display in the same spot in this house for ten solid years!) someone, some mysterious guest perhaps, has been tweaking my vintage bourbon and replacing what they drank with water! Don't know who. Don't know when. Don't know why. But, when I at last deem that it was necessary to have a belt of my own I discover that I am kept on the wagon by some scoundrel who has been stealing my whiskey, probably in the dead of night while guesting on my couch in the living room.
