Yes, he did very well indeed. Hard to believe that these still exist unopened.

This came from a yard sale that's practically a flea market in the dude's front yard several times a year. He knows to look for vintage ties for me. Lots of antique cameras, too.

Huh, I remember this one. I thought those were moth holes but they were too uniform and perfect to be. Never thought of glasses!

I've seen a very similar one with some spangly cateye glasses attached just at that position.

I have a couple of these and yes, that is exactly what would have been there. It is attached to the tie some thing like a safety pin is. It goes through the holes and hooks onto itself.
