Man, you guys aren't kidding. The owner of Mushmans mailed me today to let me know that he's received several international orders over the last few days! If someone on here is getting the goods, hope you'll post some pics!

Maybe he'll give you a discount on your jacket, now that you brought him some business. :)

Btw. the red/brown jacket looks great on you and fits like a dream. Go for it.

Ish- I'm looking forward to seeing pics of the Heron, but that Rainbow Country sure does suit you well...I might be biased as I've been dreaming of one just like it ( I'll take the seal brown). But I think the cut and back and lower cinch straps work well with your height and build. Lucky you to be able to try all these great jackets before you purchase.

Thanks handymike! I agree. Went and tried on some Real McCoys models similar to the RC last weekend, both the Wayward and Yardbird. They were excellent jackets. But the fit was not as nice as the RC, at least for me. A size 42 was tight in the waist but a tad too roomy in the shoulders. Helped me realize that the RC is really a good jacket for me.

If you ever need a proxy on a Rainbow Country just let me know (wink, wink).

Wish I could take you up on that! but those jackets are way outta my league, I'm afraid. Good luck, I do believe you are on the right track to a fantastic leather jacket that will last a lifetime and beyond. Please
post pics of the Heron!!!!!

If I'd half a brain I would have gotten pics of the red brown and black today as well, since the lighting conditions were so different.

What do y'all think?

Edit: yes, I know, forgot to tuck my shirt in!

The owner of Mushmans put up some new photos today of the RC jackets. The color is a bit amped up, but I think these give a good idea of their 3 offerings.

Thanks for the input! Everybody who has seen me in the jacket (i.e. as opposed to pics) has said that the red brown suits me better as well.

Sloan, I actually thought that the red brown would be less versatile too, But the owner has been telling me from the start that that is not the case. And today I finally believed him, after comparing the red brown and seal with a few different pants they had in shop. For example, the red brown looked really nice with olive green pants. The seal, although I thought it would pair perfectly with olive, not so much. The red brown with olive is not something I would have thought would work, but it did. I think it dresses up, and down, very well.
