They are fairly rare---not many survive. It was kind of tourist wear that few kept for long from what I can tell. I love that even the Lumicolor logo is handpainted.

This is a vintage Porto Fino silk tie, it has always been my favorite and I really appreciate the texture of the material, it has a "finger print" on the entire tie surface as the picture shows.

Porto Fino did make some interesting ties. I thought it was a Stacey Adams tie at first, though...

A couple recent thrift store finds. These are about as bold as they get for a 40's New Zealand tie, so I was quite excited when I found these. Made by one of my favourite local tie companies, "Parisian", still in business today!

That is what I say about **** ties.

It is a bit small but the perspective for the tie makes it look enven smaller.
