You, my friend, must be a tie expert! I honestly did not know until I looked at the label - it is indeed a tie by Botany, and is labeled as "Fraser Hunting" tartan!

Mountain Man, that's a lovely shirt! Must order a 'test shirt' from Luxire... here's another pic of me DJing last nite, which a friend snapped and sent over this afternoon:

I always wear loafers when I hit the thrift shops for the very same reason.

A nice look MM with a very nice shirt,
Tom I do similar at the weekend but with old bicycles or some type of old machinerey and ties do get in the way, and if I am not doing that we will be out charity shopping and a tie is a bit of a bind to keep taking off when trying on shirts etc, ditto boots which is why I tend to wear Chelsea boots or cowboy boots as they are far easier to work with trying on shoes/boots or trousers...I really like ties and cravats and always buy them when I see a nice one though cravats are quite difficult to get round here....I have just bagged a rather nice burgundy/red one for my 'new' brown/rust country tweed suit that I just got but more of that soon with pics.
Just lately I have been sporting the 'New York cabbie/working man look at least on charity Saturdays, Sundays or theatre Saturdays(matinee) are sports jackets, chino's,jeans or cords with brougue boots shirt and tie or cravat, with the weather changing the overcoats are very soon to be coming out, hats and gloves are already here!

Thank you.

As for the midwest comment, I was going to say that, in fact, did I? Ha, I don't remember!!!

I think Jimmy should come visit and get a reality check :p

I think you look dashing Tommy :)

Anyone that suggests a bow-tie or such has never been to the rural midwest LOL

Including you James :p

This pic is from yesterday and I know I posted it elsewhere, but here's Dad and I enjoying a relaxing day working with our brewery collection:

Great picture! I never realized how much you looked like your dad until now.

It makes me nervous about making it out for the next QM event lol

People tell us we look alike all the time, now if only I could grow such a great moustache!

That's the way it is with California people :p

Today I just knocked around in light khaki chinos, a black polo shirt, belt, and chelsea boots, while wearing my pale grey vintage Stetson fedora. Apart from wearing that hat so much (I should get a Panama for a warm weather dress hat), this is basically my uniform for hot weather days. I live in southern California, where the weather's been hot most of the time since June. I'm getting tired of it, and now ready for the cooler late fall weather.

I think west coast living's made you soft. I bet you can't even bait a hook :p

I'll be there to whip you into shape. :p

Hicks and hayseeds is an understatement. I'm about the only person under 30 without a jacked up pickup truck that says redneck across the windshield!

Are you sayuing they are hicks and hayseeds? Tom needs to bring them some civilization then. :p

Come during the warm months, then I can really put you to work lol

I ain't going out there with your snowmageddon. You can have it. :p
