I joined the TAR Tuesday crowd with my 50's Open Road:

With just a slight dip in the middle of the brim, inspired by Alan's wonderful 7x Clear Beaver.

Modern hats just can't pull off the snapped up brim as well as one from the golden era,
it's also not something you see done with wider brims these days, you pull it off well!

Thank you for the nice notes on the Imperial Stetson.

Jared, the felt color is unusual... but it is from Los Angeles. :)

I've only seen one other example of the liner posted on the lounge. More photos here.

That one really pops with the snowy background, David.
Nice!

Thanks, Rusty. The Black Cherry colour is one of my favorite felts, for sure.

Hatto - thanks for the Penman comment. Love the look of that Champ today.

Ernest - looking good in that cap.

Great lids this morning, David & Perry!

Thanks, Al.

Sam - you own that beret look!

David, the Black Cherry is a magical color! Looks a bit purple on your photo!

Thank you Manfred. It is hard to get the Black Cherry colour right, especially with a phone camera.

Eric - the Silverbelly looks good in that overcast, diffused light.

Alan - the colour of your Stetson is just the job for today.

Robert - cool looking Lee.

OG - great VS, love the ribbon design.

Ed - nice cap. Funny, Chrome on my phone turns it the right way, but you photo is rotated 90 degrees in Chrome on my desktop.

Jared, that Optimo Dillinger is simply the crown jewel of your collection, as far as I'm concerned. I'm in awe.
David, that new Penman is up on par with your silver belly Tumwater, just top notch.

Yes, Jeff, I agree re The Dillinger. Thanks for the Penman comment - I'm a huge fan of John's work. I like the Dobbs you have today. I have a Dobbs 20 that looks very similar to yours.

David: I really like that Penman! John's meticulous attention to the details really shows.

Jared - thanks, this Penman is a hat I could easily wear everyday. The Crystal Skull style is a great design to enjoy. You've got that brim up OR look down to a fine art, I'd say.

Fantastic set of hats and caps today everyone!!

Not much hat wearing today as we are suffering from 40+ mph sustained winds on the front edge of a cold front

But I did have my Campdraft waiting in the truck for me after work for TAR Tuesday!

Yessir Roger, we had some strong wind here and a little rain. That's why I wore the cap. Bwear caps have a nice leather headband inside them. That cap wouldn't fly off in a tornado!

Cool shots, Roger.

You are the man when it comes to the Wanderer style, Tom.

I'm celebrating the fact we are expecting 60 degrees today with my Silvermist ArtLite. Thanks to the Upstate NY and the Ohio Loungers for sending some warmer weather!

Sorry guys, the List is long and I am late here. So many great photos and posters!

Al, fantastic photos as always! You know it!. I don't want to bore you with the same comments but I can nothing other say, as
that you look damn sharp with your France/Bodin Velour and the Dobbs!

Manfred, how can anyone tire of your enthusiasm and always kind commentary? Your tireless efforts in acknowledging everyone are truly admirable, and I am humbled by your generosity! Thank you, my friend! :yo:

Tom, nice Moonstone Wanderer, you have a great hat collection!
