Jared, Jeff, Rusty, Thanks!

Richard, Thanks! Yes it's a shade of blue.

Dermotta made very high quality hats out of Vienna. I have two and wish I could find more.

Jeff, Your Buckaroo Sahara looks fantastic! Great color combos and brim treatment!

Andy, Great find with the Stetson Playboy! Looks pristine!

Perry, Super! The Victor is a great match for your jacket, shirt, and tie!

How so you guys all find vintage Borsos in such good condition? I can find mint Stetsons. But all the Borsos I see are in sad shape. Being a size 56/57 for a Borso, I suspect it was a common size back in the day - and most are well used.

Wow....

Josh; You have such interesting posts. I like the "new hat." The pouncing looks great.

HeyMoe; Excellent looking Stetson.

Jeff ; You are dressed "downtown" today. Shapr sir.

Steve ; Seriousely that is a great hat. The color and smooth pouncing jump out of the computer screen. I prefer the front 1/4 shots of your ats as they show more of the dimensions. The makes/models of your hats I just do not see often and it is enjoyable to see you wearing and showcasing them. Thanks.

Andy; I wore my hat without knowing you had a new bon vivant fedora. It is truly sharp.

Roger; Looking good sir.

Case; ever the sharp jacket/hat father. Good looking boots.

Perry; You dress up in the Fall. Sharp big ribbon.

This morning I was out and about in my early 50's or perhaps 40's Stetson Playboy. I loaded the pics to my computer and see that I got some knots in the wind cord this morning. The winds were blowing and I used the vintage wind cord. I have some work to do in a bit to straighten the vintage cord.

Thank you all for the compliments on my hats.

For today, a 20x Beaver Brand hat.

It had the cattleman crease but I have enough hats with that so I tried to change it... this felt is stiff as a board. I think I can hammer a nail with it!
That hatband must go off.

Wow, another outstanding Playboy there, Eric!

Perry, somehow the Victor slipped by me earlier this morning. That, sir, is a beautiful hat. The colors are to die for.

Joao, nice BB! What will you change the band to? The leather (I think) works on that hat! But I could see a thin 2-3 ply western ribbon too.

Today I am wearing a dark green whippet clone. There is no true brand as the liner states it was custom made for Forbes and Wallace in Springfield and that the felt is deluxe quality genuine imported fur.

Barbisio "Lago di Como"

Somewhat unusual shape to this European thin ribbon with a 4.5" crown (as bashed) and 2.25" brim... exemplifies the straight and narrow approach.

Thank you John and Perry.

The belt is quite special, an old piece (the ranger set is older than the belt, perhaps 1930s-40s) made by Hopi silversmith Morris Robinson. Here is a better picture of it.
