John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I'm the same. TBH most of the stuff that hipsters seem to love I think are hideous, especially the skinny strides with the saggy bum.

^^^^ So, do you guys like to outdoor-grill using natural lump charcoal, the pressed stuff, or propane maybe? I like to wear a couple of my really old leather jackets while grilling....makes 'em smell good.

There is currently an article on ESPN MLB re bad contracts (e.g., a player who is paid far more than his performance warrants). The author observes that teams with bad contracts often feel compelled to pay the player to whom they are shelling out huge sums, even when there are better options on the roster (who are being paid considerably less money). Thus, the presence of a bad contract can reduce the playing time of a better player. By analogy, when one owns a hoard of leather jackets, the "best" of the group inevitably see less time on the field because the owner feels compelled to give some playing time to his lessor jackets. If one were to shed himself of his lessor jackets, and consolidate his collection to only a few pieces (or, as the thread topic suggests, only one jacket) -- the cream of the crop -- he could wear only his best without feeling obligated to play the lessor pieces.
Thanks man. I got an incoming budget A2 - maybe that will work for our not-too-cold weather here in Dallas

Nice analogy and I agree whole-heartedly, but if I win the lotto this week I'll be financing certain Scottish retirement programs into the distant future.
 You and me both. I think I've gotten the list down to seven now, but then I'd be moving on to the B15s from ELC/Buzz, then a Lewis Lightening (1958 spec), and on....
