From Saturday, during a short visit to Wesleyan University... Stetson parabuntal traveled with me.

Stylish and comfortable looking hat, Alan. Also, that looks like an airplane interior in the background. Am I right?

I play anything they pay me to play... :)
mostly jazz, hip hop, blues, rock.

here is my youtube channel... there are a few things on there ...

Good stuff, Moon! Thanks for sharing. I, too, like the Adam Kestler vids.

And the new avatar is killer. If you haven't visited the thread on the movie T Jones wrote about, it's an interesting one.

Lovely parabuntals you have there, Alan! That remains one of my favorites of your collection. Cool setting in the observatory, but what on Earth is the drill press there for?

Over the weekend I had the privilege of hanging out with Jonah; wearing our straws, teaching him selfie techniques. Mine is a PHD Special Reserve, blocked and finished by Art Fawcett. His is an Ebay find without a name. Sitting on the steps at my daughter's home with the babies was a joy!!

Charlie, I think Jonah wins best hat of the weekend! Well hatted one and all

Stetson Sovereign Twenty again

I've been thinking of giving a few more of my hats that 20's-30's style side dents. Kind of a cattleman crease for fedoras. It worked so well on one of my Mallory's, I thought I'd try it on another

The observatory at Wesleyan and their 20" Alvan Clark refractor are in the process of renovation. No observing going on under that dome until fall 2015. Your weekend looks like it was filled with joy, Charlie... great photos.

Thanks guys! Fruno, I've found I only like the fedora side dents on hats with at least 5 3/4 open crowns and I don't go all the way front to back like one would with a cattleman crease on a cowboy hat.

+1 Is it sorta like that modified cattleman? Still trying to figure that one out. High pinches but not TOO high and not TOO far all the way back... Any teardrop? Any C crown? I dont believe they will work that well. As I said still tryin to figure it all out.
