Rockwell always blows me away. To think he never regarded himself as an artist, he always said he was an illustrator. My favourite of his work is " The Problem We All Live With" when I first saw a copy of it I honestly thought it was a photograph.

I have collected several books & illustrations by this man which I consider a unique artist that I admire greatly.

People will shout art only at the things they like. There's nothing to be disliked about mr Rockwell's work. It's like saying life can be too sentimental at times. It can, yeah, and it's a good thing.

This one always makes me smile...

A touring display of original Norman Rockwell Boy Scout related paintings came through our town a few years ago. It was very cool to see the art that adorned many a Boy's Life cover.

I remember being introduced to Rockwell in maybe the 5th grade. I can recall being turned off by it. Today, I like his work. Maybe because I've come to value American culture!

For some reason, I got a yearning for old style faded blue jeans .
Went to the malls with no luck !

Finally found a pair at a thrift shop.

In the mid-70's, at around age 14-15, I had this exact magazine pullout mounted on the wall of my bedroom, right next to Farrah Fawcett. My mother didn't approve of either.
