Great area to visit. Even better if you are lucky enough to score a razor hone sourced locally. They're some of the best and most desirable hones, and are mighty difficult to find now.

In East Germany I saw many razors in some old shops, but my knowledge is scarce about them.
It is a forbidden way to shave in my family since I was a child and in ecstasy I admired my grandfather use it in a very dangerous manner.
I'm (was) able to use the razor, not actually I have not enough heart to try it again.....
