This is an old hat. The felt reminds me of one of my old Wilke Velours. Here are more details.

This is an old German or Austrian Velour. The crown was over 6 inches open. I am not sure if it had a liner. The Velour is very beautiful with some other colors mixed in with the black.

Wearing my reworked Akubra Stockman today. Not a robust hat as far as crown and brim goes, but good for those days when I want a more subtle look (as if it's possible not to stand out in our ball cap wearing society). Have a great day everyone.
