When I was in London a few months ago and visited the LL store, I was particularly impressed with the LL Dominator and concluded a size 44 with 2" added to the sleeves and 1" to the body length would be a great fit for me. I loved the even cleaner look of the Corsair, although the slash pockets on the Corsair had just enough of a different angle to not be as effective for me as handwarmers as that of the Dominator. The workmanship of all of the LL products seemed top notch and can apprecoate LL's popularity. I have the impression that LL jackets might be sized a bit on the small size as I normal wear a size 42 which was too tight for me with the Dominator/Corsair line.

How does the sheepskin FEEL? Does it seem thin and delicate, or tough enough? Is it noticeably lighter? Softer hand? More flexible? Does it have grain and character? I have been toying with the idea of a Lewis Leathers "Countryman" in the British Racing Green sheepskin, with seal brown sheepskin collar, cuffs, pocket welts, and hem band. Awesome jacket collection, by-the-way. You wear them well and they are not necessarily too short, or too short of sleeve for you.

Both 402T Sheepskin and 551T Steerhide are second-hand jacket. The 441T horsehide is the New one.
The sheepskin is thin, lighter weight, more flexible, smooth and shiny than horsehide and steerhide. It really comfortable.
But it also delicate i think.
You can compare the photo with un-zip sheepskin and horsehide. The sheepskin starting to get baggy in the back.

Very nice! I kind of agree with BobJ, length although on the shorter side isn't too short to me.
With trousers with slightly higher rise you would sort out the body length, and the sleeves are ok too, but i do prefer shorter sleeves.

I mean, just look at any picture of the Ramones, if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for you!

Does Lewis Leathers pay owners a fee to advertise their jackets by way of the patch? I might consider a LL jacket if I received appropriate compensation for being a walking billboard.
lol, I think LL should pay the fee to me~

I'm a little crazy with leather jacket now...
Just considering custom a 441T from LL and a BUCO J100 from Diamond DAVE.
This 3 LL, two are second-hand jacket, one is clearing sample at the Thanksgiving.
I am not satisfied with the size of them~

Wow, that is really quick. I read your post already on the Taiwanese website (good to be bilingual) , obviously drawing a lot of attentions. I do wish I have your financial power for jackets!

Your jackets all look stunning, but for most of us here, the "T" option is certainly out of the question. I tried some of the tight fit jackets with my chest size and I simply looked stupid in them. The good thing of living in London is that you do get the proper tailoring when ordering the jacket in their shops. If I am going to buy another Lewis, it will be the Super Sportsman with stripes.

The other thing is, if you want to maintain the sort of slim tight fit, the DD J100 may not be your cup of tea.

The DD J100 is with loose size? can't custom it~?
I mail to David days before ask for inside pocket, he reply the original design of j100 was for a very trim fitting jacket so can't have the inside pccket.

Actually i only want to keep the Navy one, The other 2 are intend to sell, or sell those 3, and custom new one...;)
The total cost is over to my budget. It is too crazy ...

1st, Do yourself a favour and don't stand in front of that bush for photo's, I thought you had pegs on the sleeve's in the first pictures of you wearing.

Some models originally came with patches, others without. I do believe they insist on putting this on all jackets now. Oh, and they don't do the original style stainless belt clasp.
They are nice looking old style bike jackets, more suited for the Cafe racer look(pronounce it Kaff for authenticity) than the American designs, but having had a few jackets back in the 70s and 80s I would never have a bike jacket in sheep.
Note: I am guessing you are talking here about the outside shell rather than traditional sheepskin wooly lining?
