I packed up the leftovers for Hubby's lunch on Wednesday. His lunch tomorrow is leftover roast dinner from last night. Tomorrow nights dinner is tacos (no leftovers), so he will get a turkey & bacon wrap (homemade) & chips for lunch on Thursday. I try to keep it interesting for him. He always gets some sort of fruit/veggies/mixed nuts for snacks, too.

Lily loved the chicken tonight, but gave the pilaf the stinkeye. Win/lose.

Tried to beat the summer heat. Cold leftover rotisserie chicken with pepper jack cheese and home grown tomatoes on fresh baked rosemary parmesan bread, with a marinated cucumber, tomato, and onion salad with feta cheese in the dressing,

and fresh cantaloupe and blueberries.

Currently slow cooking some chuck steak cubes with onion & baby portabella mushrooms in maranara sauce with extra basil & garlic. Will serve with mini farfalle (bowtie) pasta. Green salad with Ranch on the side.
