Regarding the sizing, I had a size 40 Teamster when I was about 180lbs and it was way too big on me, I had to move it on sadly...

Carrie had suggested a 38 but I thought I knew better.....costly lesson!

It had
Pit to pit 23
Shoulder 19
Waist when fully cinched in of 20.
Sleeve and back were custom length.

so it all comes back to my original issue, measurements on a used 38 wayfarer are exactly mine, but Carrie said I would be a 40 or 42 in wayfarer....such a tough call

My Teamster, days after it arrived in 2014. (It has since settled down nicely, with a lovely patina:

New Aero Teamster ordered in battered tan HH...brown herringbone tweed body lining...cotton drill sleeve lining...left hand inside G-1 style pocket with no snap...and woven leather style buttons. Chose a size 38 ( my regular size is 40 long ) however, after observing some photos especially the back with bi-swing I determined that a few appeared somewhat oversized so I dropped down. 26.5 sleeve length...28.75 body length. Thurston Bros is ordering it right away. This...will...be...my...final... last...jacket..!! I swear on my Bootlegger gawdus of style character and cool. :D

Sounds like it's going to be a sweet jacket for sure! I agree that the Teamster looks best when it is on the slimmer side.

is this meant to be a 3/4 style? I've seen a range of fits.

Seems it is meant to be a few inches longer than the normal shorter Hwymn & HB styles and I think that length compliments the style. I seem to have a somewhat long torso for a 6' 2" guy I guess. I found that no matter how tall someone is there can be several variables that can come into play. I prefer a 26 1/2" body length in a short Aero jacket to cover my belt well. I understand from Carrie and others that the size 40 in the Teamster style normally measures at 28 1/2" in body length..so I wanted just a little longer for me. I suppose it could be called a 3/4 length jacket but photos don't quite appear as that long on most members.
I kind of like the not quite appearance.

Fit is very close to my fit, teamster is full by nature so a little extra room in chest area. Can layer if needed, very comfortable, awesome jacket, looks great, battered tan teamster is a perfect match!

That is a lovely jacket, very good fit, what is the shoulder size of a 38, I'am thinking about ordering a teamster.
I've got a HWM and a Hercules in size 40, I am a bit worried about the size 38 schoulder measurement

Just when you thought you have what you need concerning leather jackets, the addiction strikes back! I think battered tan suits you very good.
Just received a couple of Aeros myself
after a period of thinking I had ENOUGH!

Cheers, Joakim
