Thedi Leathers experience with horsehide and goat skin?

Thedi’s creations tend to look even better in flesh that in his Blogspot pictures. Its worthwhile to look at his facebook pics and do a google search for pictures of his jackets.

That said, if I would be forced to say something negative about Thedis, I would say that the naming of jacket models is not optimal for internet searches (or even remembering the model names).

This one will not be in a pre weathered treatment and I'll see if he can make the collar points a bit smaller.

Yes, i agree... i currently own 2 thedi and have 2 on order.

I have a beast of a CR in waxed cow (love it) ... and a CR in horsehide (i agree his hh is on light weight side... and little light on grain... none the less its developing the more i wear it and do like it)

Is this waxed cowhide? How about heaviness (3oz or more?) and is the leather soft and pliable? I was also thinking about this CR and I guess it is cowhide (I'm either considering the washed black or dark green)....just too many beautiful Thedis ;-)

The second is waxed cow... im not an expert on judging weight in oz... but it is pretty heavy and thick. It has somwhat a firm hand but pliable... not sure if im describing it correctly. But i love it!!

It certainly does not have the grain of the goat that jejupe posted... it all depends on what you are looking for.

For me... the second one..

Fit... check!
Badassery.... check!
Battle Armour... check!

Hey guys,
First of all thank you for your help!
Quick update from my side. I've just ordered 3!!! Thedi jackets and will perhaps order another one next week (not yet decided)...I know, I'm kinda crazy and decided NOT to order a horsehide jacket from Thedi as my clear favorite HH is BKs Victory (I bought it used) and I don't want to support his bahavior. Another reason is as I wanted something different (more modern style, vintage look, different leather types such as buffalo and leather/canvas combination and Theodoros seems to be a nice guy!).
Here are the jackets I ordered and the one I need your input:

1. one in washed tan buffalo with brown/espresso buffalo pockets and cuffs:
