You and me both... I've been working on getting a Richard for 3 weeks. Crazy how difficult it is to find someone that has one in stock, even in Japan. And then you find one in Japan and they won't send to the US.

And their next run of jackets about to drop next month. Oh man. I am doing my best to grab an Edward before they vanish. FC version of the chopper.

Yeah Man, the Edward would be also my choice (I also like you Leon Custom pretty much) but after the RMC J24 I don't need another black motorcycle style jacket ;-) - here's one left in size 40 unless you need size 42

juicy looking leather and creasing potential from the photos around the internet, also nice slim fitting sleeve
but the way they make the epaulette less version is borderline madness, hope they don't charge extra for that

So they all seem to have the highly grained right panel off the bat. Wasn’t sure if FCL distressed their jackets just for the Instagram pics or if that’s how they look when new.

I was recently talking directly to Yasu-san from FCL regarding possible customization of the sleeve length of their Edward jacket since the sleeves are 3-4 cm too long for me and received following reply which is typical for Japanese brands:
"We are very sorry but we couldn’t take order like that.
We haven’t taking kind orders (I guess this means custom orders).
Very sorry.
Our leather is kind but shrinks a bit.
Like a denim.
4cm is bit long for you but maybe it will shrink like 2cm.
If you keep wearing, it will fit to your body nicely.
If you keep wearing and passed one year, please think about changing the length."

Good question what he meant by "shrinking leather" and how this should work. I suppose he meant the wrinkling on the sleeves when wearing it a lot which makes the sleeves probably a little bit shorter....

Ksozay, skip the Edward. I can get you that Euro-style for $20 and in a heavier leather.

You are correct, no customization. All of my FC jackets are their standard models.

I think he means Shiniki leather. That the leather is soft and heats up easily from your body heat. Over time with wear/repeated heating from wear and the normal weathering the jacket goes through - it will crease and gather in places like elbow/chest etc. which would cause the jacket to essentially shrink a bit as it forms these creases and folds.
