Greetings, Fedora Lounge! It's been awhile.

I've got five fedoras I've worn over the years, since I first found the Fedora Lounge long ago. The era of fedoras in my life has come to an end, so I'm pondering selling them, as they just sit here in their boxes when they could be enjoyed by a fellow fedora-lover with a large head! These hats have been integral to me as a person since they first came into my life, so I'm a tad hesitant to part with them.

All size 7 1/2, though the Stratoliner fits a little tighter (it's long oval).

In no particular order:

IMG_7037.jpg

Art Faucett 400 Count Monticristi
2.5" brim. 4.5" crown height.
Made by Art for me in 2015.
Originally paid around $400.

IMG_7033.jpg

"Stack" cavanaugh edge.
If I recall correctly, Art thought this might be a 40's hat made by Borsalino for Stack.
Cleaned, blocked, new ribbon, new sweatband by Art in 2015.
2.5" brim. 5" crown height.

Optimo
Made for me in 2007.
2.25" brim. 5" crown height.

IMG_7052.jpg

Borsalino Qualita Superiore
Probably 1940's.
Cleaned, blocked by Art in 2015.
2.5" brim. 5" crown height.

Royal Stetson Stratoliner
Probably 1940's.
2.5" brim. 5" crown height.
Dirtiest of the bunch, having never been cleaned or restored in any way.

Curious if there's any interest in these. Willing to sell individually or as a lot.

EDIT: Given the interest, I've made auctions for each of the hats below:

Stack (Borsalino?): https://www.ebay.com/itm/254314368296
Borsalino: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254314372069
Stetson: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254314375208
VS Custom Monticristi: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254314387038
Optimo: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254314381322

Thanks,
Matt

Given the volume of messages I'm getting about each of the hats, I think the best path forward is putting them up on eBay since I have no idea what to value any of them at...

Have you been answering any of your messages about these hats? You put them in the classifieds and several of us are waiting to hear back from you.

I also did send a PM although I agree that it is probably best to put them up on eBay given the vast interest.

I've not answered any, because I was inundated and figured it would be best to simply post here for all to see, rather than try individually. I'm going to get them up on eBay and I'll post here to each of the auctions as soon as I do!

Best,
Matt

Hey Wack: when you post them on ebay you may consider putting a BIN and or best offer. If loungers identify themselves you may be able to dialogue an agreeable price and move them faster and with less drama. I think you might get a more fair idea of value that way then just rolling the dice on a straight auction.
Just a thought.
