I had a package from Steve, from Germany. Germany? Yes he was on tour and he made me a wonderful gift. A book about Tonak/Hückel . Full of history and a lot of amazing photos!

The book is full of news and interesting about the history of one of the most important hat-makers in the Old Continent. Thank you also for the Tonak catalog of the current production. When you have rested and tidied up the notes and photos I hope we will have an overview of the event and the current status of Tonak products, heirs of an illustrious past.

Very nice, Garrett. I contacted the seller to ask about the size of this one (and several others of their listed hats). They promised to let me know, but so far no joy. That J. Heinrich Ita bowler is a joy to see though.

Brüder Böhm, 1931 Pocket Calendars, 9.5 cm X 7 cm, top in German and bottom in Czech. I actually received the Czech one as gift during my recent visit to Novy Jicin and I purchased the German one prior to leaving on the trip (arrived by mail during my absense) so an amazing coincidence.

Great images from that Ita publication, Garrett. The seller has contacted me to inform me that the listings have been updated with the sizes. Mostly small sizes unfortunately (even smaller than ours
).

Pre WWII or WWII era J. Heinr. Ita hats of any kind are hard to find. I mostly come across Stiff Felts and Silk Tops hat but those are usually small sizes.
