Hey Tom, thanks for the kind words. Sizing is pretty individual, as you’d imagine. The specs for this aren’t too far off from the Aero D-Pocket I just sold, these being just a half-breath larger. Best to go by the specs listed on the IH product page; I purchased the SMALL and the dimensions are quite consistent with those listed on their website.

When I first put the jacket on right out of the box, right there in front of my wife, all I could say was, “Oh man, this thing is perfect, and it feels like a second skin.”

Again, size is individual, but this jacket has been exceptionally easy to wear. And the hand on this chrome-tanned horsehide has become increasingly soft like warm Play-doh, a result of the grains rapidly developing with every touch and movement. I mean, I love pictures of stiff jackets that stand on their own, but there’s nothing quite like a horsehide jacket that drapes and folds itself over your arms, or falls like a thick, hand-woven blanket in your hand.

Thanks, Powerband.

I did. now order the jacket in size „L“ and will see how it goes. With IH‘ s worldclass delivery system, I should know before long...

These pictures of yours - Can’t wait to see the jacket in the flesh! Always wear it in good health.

After seeing the new “Midway” movie (I give it a thumb’s up!), I had to wear my “go-to” G-1 jacket: a 2002 military-issued Excelled in a 48 Long. I’ve added a vintage USN whistle to the collar that I obtained from a veteran submarine officer who deployed aboard USS SWORDFISH (SSN 579) during the 1960’s (the full service history of SWORDFISH is still cloaked in secrecy; if this whistle could talk....!).
