I was in on that Goaty as well but you were HUNGRIER!!!! Congrats man (6 months later )!!!!!. I always knew a FL member snatched it up. It just got outta my range and I thought I had it valued decently. I agree with your logic on the fit and the near Mint condition as reasons to go all out for it. So rare to find that combo in a true vintage jacket. I saw your fit pics before I read this thread and I KNEW that was the jacket I lost!!! SOOO I went on a little search here to see if I could locate the lucky owner. Lol..... As I recall, that jacket was also re-lined (by an old school Turkish tailor in California) a few years ago. I contacted the tailor that did the work last year and he said he was too old and no longer doing leather tailoring. Really if you think about it, re-lining is a rather costly endeavor and you could reason that you paid for the re-line as well. That was my logic in bidding anyway. So you still got a reasonable deal and a great garment.

Beats me how their camo nylon garment bag for USD 1580 can be sold out. I guess his customers really need ballistic nylon to protect the suits they bought from him the moment they leave his shop in NY.
