There are not many options if Greg doen´t want to expand at this point in time. It´s all moving very fast for him ATM, so this is a tricky time.
Let´s hope he isn´t ending like Ship John who are basically selling based on a lottery system.
I'd much rather him raise prices and/or just go for a longer wait time. I think the lottery system is ridiculous.

As long as you know the deadlines will be respected which is the case with White Kloud :)
Exactly. He actually went past estimate, but that's because he introduced shell cordovan while I was waiting for my boots and I wanted that leather, so it pushed me back a bit. He had to get the leather, make a test pair in shell, then order my shell. I have no issue waiting more for that and he always keeps up communication. Plus, I will get his first ever customer pair of shell boots so that's also worth it to me.

Hm, I don´t have anything against a wait-list. Be open to the customer as to where he/she stands, get a deposit-payment, inform about unepected movement in the line, and all is good. Of course, I´d expect Greg to make sure that nobody jumps the queue (obviously other than for repair/remake of a flawed piece etc.).
Raising prices to keep demand at bay may backfire. I mean, he is a 1-person outfit without any sizeable overhead-cost to justify "surge inflation" of the prizes.

Just for clarity: I am not opposed to Ship John or their way of doing business. They seem to be good people with innovative ideas how to market their product (lotteries, raffles etc.). It´s just that I cannot bring myself to sit in front of my notebook at ludicrous hours of the day (in my timezone) to try to be fast enough to buy a waxed jacket that will end up costing me one grand. Plus, his newsletter just never seems to get delievered, regardless of how many times I sign up...

simple law of supply and demand. You raise the price to meet the demand if you don't have the supply to maximize your profit. TBH, I'm surprised he didn't raise prices more and keep the wait time more "reasonable". While some of us don't care about 6 months, the typical customer will. And lets face it, he isn't going to make a consistent living on the 1% of 1% of leather jacket heads. It's a tricky game and to add to it, he's gotten a lot of press lately about having fair prices for quality jacket so maybe that is a consideration. I'm glad I got mine just in the nick of time it seems. My wait time got pushed several weeks especially with holidays and some tricky jackets before me, but all in all was worth the extra wait. This is definitely one of those forks in the road moments for him. Not sure there's ONE right answer. But I wish him all the best.

I was also expecting a bigger increase. Something like £1250 for full custom jackets and £1k for a regular design / pattern.
For full custom, FL is pretty much the only high end option AFAIK, which means price elasticity of demand is relatively inelastic.

How are you enjoying your jacket? Already some browns peeking through?

Been wearing every day at least 1 or 2 hours. Think it will be at least another hundred hours of wear to get some showing. But other than that, the grain is popping all over. Great sleeve creases, overall "loosening up" around the neck and shoulders. Feeling really good about it. Trying to lose the 4 or 5 pounds from holidays, but I went a little bigger on this one so I can afford it LOL.

I have received Frankenstein and I got nothing but great things to say about the jacket but I think photos will be easier for everyone. I tightened the adjusters a little too tightly on these initial photos.

Looks great! As you said, the adjusters are too tight, but otherwise the fit looks pretty good. Would love to see it with them relaxed.

Yes, I noticed it right away when I checked the initial fit photos so I loosened them up right away. I got the photos of the side adjusters being loosened on the wjaywt thread. I could have requested 1" less in the waist but the side adjusters would have been just a decorative piece then.

Looks to be a front drop of 1 3/8". Your black FL looks like it's on the money already but a 2" drop won't be too drastic of a change. The front drop on Jake's FW suede trucker is the best I've seen.
Thanks! I do love the way it fits. Since you said you liked it, I took it out and measured it. As it turns out, the chest is 21", the waist is 18.25", and the bottom opening is 17.5", but it does lay flat so it's probably at least 18.25" as well in reality.

That is still a fairly strong drop of around 5.5". That's more than any of my other FW jackets, which all have at least 3" drops or more.

My new RMC which I really like the fit of goes from 21.5" in the chest down to 19" in the waist and bottom opening. Almost as aggressive at 5". I will likely be going for something similar with my Field Leathers jacket, especially as it will be short.
