why make so many belt holes though, I have similar plan to buy blank belt myself and a hole puncher, but I will only punch one hole on it:).
That is a good idea. I punched them 1/2-in apart, and only use two or three, depending on the weight of my jeans (they range from 22-oz to 12-oz) and how tight I want the belt. When punching I just went with my old commercial belt to mark the holes, but did not consider just punching one or two holes. Good idea, my next belt will have one hole, and if I need more I'll just punch more. :)

Got it. I've been weary of vintage jackets but seeing all these nice looking cafe racers really got me thinking! Thanks for sharing the info about the belt, never knew you could get a leather blank. Does it involve stitching around the buckle? Super cool buckle, that's the nicest one I've seen.
Yeah, I am getting my blanks from Weaver Leather, English Bridle leather. Couple of my belts are from14-oz blanks - no more wimpy commercial belts. The Japanese hardware I get from Smoky Sumi - look him up on eBay or the internet. Solid, sand-cast brass - no more wimpy cheap buckles! I don't stitch but use brass Chicago screws to hold the buckle in place. I got a rotary hole puncher for $19 on eBay and that thing is a beast. Lots of fun making belts, recommended!

Horsehide Schott Perfecto. Just passing through on its way to @Monitor . I think with the addition of yet another Perfecto you do owe us a comprehensive and in depth review of your Schott Perfecto collection @Monitor

edit: this is one of the nicest Schotts I've handled. Nice leather, neatly stitched without major flaws and the proportions are right.

Returning one of your previous comments: You do rock that Moto-style as effortlessly as the more toned down Sports jacket look (not to mention the impersonation of a 1970´s pimp with your RLL coat...). Cool jacket. Who would have thought that a size 38 works for you in that model...

Thanks. I really enjoy wearing different styles, trying to make them work and pulling off the look. My goal is to have a diversified jacket collection, having at least one of each style.

Expected this week: A Grizzly :D

It doesn't, it's too tight and I cannot wear it zipped up. I think a 40 would be perfect for me.

That looks damn good! Tell @Monitor you accidentally sent it to someone in Sweden instead. I’ll pm you my address.

Jokes aside, if you ever let this go monitor, I am officially asking for first dibs.

Dude, this fits you not like it was tailored for you but rather, like it was tailored for you to wear on your rock concert which is needless to say better! Zipped or not, this is how you wear a Perfecto. Get one. From Greg!
And thank you for sendin' me this stuff. My collection would continue to **** *** if it wasn't for you.

Hahaha sure, man, of course. If it comes to that! HH size 38 is something I've been after for a long while, but it rarely turns up & I wasn't ready to pay a grand or more for one so this is a dream come true. But you know how it goes. :)
