Ok so Stuart has been putting this on the bay for years. The full story is on the LW Sales page. Also for years, I think he put it on the sales page in 2005 . And I have been watching it for years.....finally the price was reasonable and my offer (first one in all these years) was accepted. The short story is that this Trojan was part of many made for a motorcycle club and this was left over. It is Black canvas with a sheepskin lining and includes the belt. It is beautifully made with the sleeves lined in heavy duty satin and the sheepskin has a gorgeous yellow color. Really glad I was patient!!!!
Oh and the inside pocket is fully capable of concealed carry without an imprint.

Very nice indeed. I wonder why they chose to go with canvas rather than leather, given it clearly wasn't a choice made for hotter weather given the lining. Nonetheless, a really nice jacket, and it's always nice to have an alternative to leather some days. I think this design lends itself particularly well to being rendered in textile.

It's not like leather is insulating in the first place.
I would think that in cold dry weather canvas is probably easier to wear than leather.

If the motorcycle club is correct and judging from the quality of the jacket I believe it is then one might look back at the motorcycle clubs of the past. Many bought sweaters, and satin nylon jackets for their patches. I think this jacket sort of marries that thinking with the added benefit of being able to use it on the bike.
