I truly believe the Fidelity HH jackets measure up well with the CSCs, Wolfs, Sportclads of the world. I don’t see them pop up for sale as often as the others either.

I also have the older x zip Cal. The only two Cals I won’t sell. I flounder on the CR and keep it bc they are harder to find in my size and good condition. It isn’t the older hide though, only seen a few of those.

If there exist true grails, these old brown Cals should be them. I don't think I'll ever get one because @Leather Walker is my size and he finds all the Cals first. By miles! Maybe he will find two, lol.

Special jackets for sure. And thick hides. Mine are LW thick. Leather Walker is Magellan when it comes to finding Cals. He is always finding them at the bottom of the internet.

I have a x zip. Mid 50's. Built like a tank. A shade lighter than my heaviest lw j23. The arms are a little long. @Leigh H he wears his so cool.

May as well post some updated shots of the unlabeled HH Phillips. I really struggled with the notion of altering this jacket to fit. It’s pristine condition really gave me pause as to whether or not it’s the “right” thing to do. After getting my 5 Star HH Knopf build from Shawn I considered just having him do this pattern in his black horse.

Ultimately, I just couldn’t resist making this one work for me. It’s highly unlikely I’ll ever find another. So I had Dena make it perfect for me. No need to replicate.

Yes the same design. I think previous owner shortened the sleeves of mine the opposite to the alteration of your Philips.
