I had several in this style, which was quite nice., have not seen one in years. Also Appalachian

This was a dirty white and I dyed it black. Should have kept it white.

I would have bought that jacket you posted. Just look more closely at the Appalachians. they are often interesting/unique jackets. Taylors made a jacket like the map pocket, without the map pocket.

They made many of the leather sport jackets for Sears Oakbrook label in the early 60s. They produced the same jacket with Sears and Appalachian labels.

I will post some of my Appalachian jackets.

This 40s(?) Hercules is on the bay at the moment. The horsehide looks completely rotten but posting for posterity as it must once have been a good looking jacket and I haven't seen this lining pattern before.

I’ve always suspected a connection. Same location. Same style of label. Same style of jacket. My theory is that perhaps Star Glove bought them out. At the very minimum, they were aware of each other and maybe worked together.
