My 2 are original, the later ones are calfskin I believe. I had sellers remorse as soon as I sold my original jacket here on the forum.the new owner wasn't for selling it back to me lol trust me I tried.

I owned on of these in 2001 - 2003; only difference was no center zip in the middle of the back.
Bought it new, sold to help fund graduate school. Very good, heavy jacket.

If it were not for the 24.5" sleeves and 22" pit to pit, I would have purchased this by now.
