This Peters Bros belonged to a Congressman from Iowa (1959 - 1995). Not sure what quality level it is.

Anyone know this brand?

It was sold at a well known Kenyan outfitter that was around from 1903 into the 1970s anyway.

Sometimes things are lost in translation; from what I found "nadir" can also mean "rare" or "special". Better go with that then!
