I don’t believe it’s an E/W. Looks more like this Ibex

There were so many companies copping E/W designs. Ibex was one of the few Ives seen that did a half way decent job of it. Leather isn’t nearly as nice. Collar is far better than the original.

This just arrived today. It’s a size 44. I typically wear 38-40. The shoulder and pit to pit fit very well. The sleeves are a bit long but no complaints here. The leather is surprisingly supple and the condition is pretty amazing for this old of a jacket. I can see why EWMI jackets are so collectible, the quality is very good and the style is just cool.

I just picked this one up in size 42. 19 inch pit to pit. A little tight in the shoulder and tight in the waist when I zip up.. the leather is very good quality. Also very supple and s”stretchy” enough to make a snug fit comfortable to wear.

That’s one size too small for you

Agree...but it's nearly impossible to get anything larger than a size 42 out there. I will just have to wait patiently for a larger size to hit the market one of these days.......

From the photographs of folks wearing these jackets back in the 70's, there were all short in length and very snug. Personally i prefer a little more room, like the previous one that I posted that is a size 44

I would take any of these fits^ !!!!
My two tone East West trucker arrived. It’s too small. But I almost don’t care. Almost.

This is the closest I’ve come to actually getting one on. The last one I tried on….

Unfortunately I can’t lose weight. I either lose muscle and replace it with fat or I keep the muscle I have. Slimming down isn’t really an option because I love food and booze too much.

The shirt is too small.... but it still looks quite good despite that. Cool summery look I'd say

What is so special about this rough out trucker? From the photos, it doesn't look better than other such jackets you have shown us. It looks the same. Does it have some special features or patterns or is the hide substantially better?

I almost purchased an EWMI on eBay last week but doing so would have overstrained my budget and I couldn't tell that there was something substantively better about it. Yeah it looked kind of cool but that wasn't enough for me. For that price, I need to know I am getting something of exceptional quality.

It’s the small details, the design/cut…. and the leather is exceptional.

Every time I see this thread I’m tempted to look up Christian Bales “Machinist” diet. These jackets sadly don’t come in my size and it plain *****. A 44” smoke just ended on eBay. 20.5” p2p. LOL. Why? How? That’s a 36”!!!
