Hi, I wanted to start a Star Glove-specific thread for their jackets (including replicas from Lost Worlds and others) and history. Here is a paper clipping for Star Glove from 1929, which mentions the owner's name and some other details. Their timeline, based on the 1929 article and obituary, is roughly 1929-1943.

Did Vintez change the name to Star Glove and Leather, or did that name always show up on the tags of their leather items beyond gloves? I wonder if @tmitchell59 ’s idea of checking business directories might help pinpoint a date for any name change.

That Im not sure about. It would make sense that they used the "and leather", because they diversified way beyond gloves. Maybe Star Glove was like a DBA?

These manufacturers moved around like crazy. I found like like 4 or 5 locations for Trojan.
