Both great jackets. The green wool is the U.S. Army Eisenhower or Ike jacket. Officially a M-1944 Jacket. Used from the late 1940s into the 1950s. I don't know if that one is authentic but it looks great.

Thanks man I do love it this jacket actually came about because of how much I love my aero board racer in badalassi russet I said to myself man do i need another then I made the call to jl and said make me a j100 both are incredible in my opinion im happy jl gives me options like number 10 zipper i think the antique brass zippers really pop

I agree. Those zippers look incredible. Did you source the Shinki? Or did JL have some in stock?

I’ve tried in the past to get them to make me one and they explained at the time they didn’t carry it then they do have some but only for a project that they are working on then one day we spoke a bit and they let me make a jacket out of it and explained that because of the amount of business ive done with them they would make me one I went even as far as to ask if I could post on here because I didn’t want to cause issues with customers that they have they told me it was ok but at the least I gave context to why they made me the jacket

Makes sense they let you cash in on your frequent flyer miles. You more than be deserve special treatment. Good on JL for taking care of you
