Waste not.

The mock-up that Johnson Leathers provided for my bespoke jacket is canvas with leather trim. It's simple but actually wearable. I have a niece who has some artistic capability and a blank canvas jacket, so… Why not a rendition of Dali's, “Persistence of Memory” on the back?

It was just the right weather to wear the other day.

I did notice that the front is a little plain. So I'm going to send this back to my niece to do some time-themed images on each front panel.

How often do they update their stock on website? It seems like about half of the items in the main page are out of stock.

They can order most stuff so I don’t see why that would be an issue I would deff call them and ask
I think the only path is if you supply them the leather that you want to use. Unless you have a good relationship with them my personal experience is that they won’t go out of the way at least at this time to procure unique leathers outside of their current offering..

Really?

It looks pretty damn good based on squirrel hero’s videos

How did we come full circle from the guy who summarizes TFL posts for Reddit (getting a lot of things wrong in the process) being cited as a source on TFL?

And I never said it's not a beautiful leather.

The squeak?

There's squeak with other leathers too but Badalassi just feels like more of a shoes and durable goods leather than a garment leather. It doesn't drape like one.

Funny you mention that but I have an aero highwayman in badalssi. It does not drape well like you mentioned and I hope that remedies with wear because the leather isn't broken in.

It's rubbery is the only way I can describe it.

You guys could be here saying Badalassi is the greatest leather, thick yet malleable, perfect fit no matter your body type, waterproof, with magic properties that give you superpowers and I still wouldn't be able to get over it sounding like two balloons rubbed against each other.

I like the sound. The same way I like the squeak from shell cordovan boots.
