Oooo they are perfect for the gym little company called zellerfeld they scan your feet and 3d print them my lord the comfort let me know if you need a pair

For an object of such exquisite beauty, a century, how long it takes for thermoplastic polyurethane to disappear off the face of the earth, is not enough time.

Schott size medium has always fit me perfectly regardless of the pattern, so I was one of the gullible fools to bite on this jacket.

Haven't made up my mind on keeping it or not, but fortunately Schott does have a phenomenal return policy. @X83 and @Tom71 the price is pretty outrageous. That being said the website lists the jacket as made in "exceptional Horween horsehide," which I think is a fair statement. Not the best lighting but the jacket just arrived.

If I do keep it though, besides the fit, the quality of the leather will be the reason. This is veg tan full aniline leather, completely different than the chromexcel stuff I've previously experienced. Still very robust, but when I quickly tried it on moving around was fine, and I'd imagine it would be beautiful once broken in. Even the buttons were easy to use. Best way I could describe this leather is more like artisinal horsehide, like the Maryam hide I bought for my custom Vanson, or that you see used for a lot of custom boots. Just look at the grain on the back panels, it's all over the jacket. Lastly, the color!

-Cheers
Nice looking jacket. Maybe I’ll check it out. Do post some pics with it on!

I always thought they were Adidas foam runners (don't recall their specific name), lol.

This said, for the gym I would far prefer something like Metcons. Closer to the ground, grippy sole and a midsole that won't compress in heavy lifts.

Yeah, I got Ultraboost for that purpose (along looooooooooooooooong walks and traveling). For the gym I rarely do cardio, so something that will lower impact on knees is actually working against lifting heavy.

You did get me curious on those, though. Seems like they use a similar system to customize them as swimming goggles which I've been eyeing for a while.
