I'm selling this amazing Aviator Jacket made from Horsehide by Warehouse & Co. It is unworn, brand new with tag.
I got the last remaining size 40 from Dant in the USA and it's just a bit too tight across the shoulders for me to wear. It seems to be sold out everywhere, and having it in hand I can understand why. I am gutted to be selling it, but am hoping to find a size 42 once this sells.
It's a replica of a World War I era Spalding aviator jacket. "The original jacket was worn by Lieutenant JM Dayton, who went to the Angers region of France in 1918 as a pilot of the American Expeditionary Force pursuit party that participated in World War I in 1917. It has been faithfully "reprinted" what Warehouse has archived with materials about him. At that time, when fighter planes were being developed, long coats and jumpsuits were the mainstream styles in Europe, but in the United States, short-type jackets to match jodhpurs (tight-fitting trousers) were released. The aviator jacket that appeared in the catalog in 1919 cost $80 at the time."
The original RRP was $2350. It is now on final sale at $1600 in Size 38 only at Dant. https://www.dant.us/collections/warehouse-co/products/lot-2184-horse-leather-aviator-jacket-brown
Measurements given by Dant are shown below. I also included photos with a tape measure but I am not a professional tailor, they are provided for information purposes only.
I am listing it for $1600 including shipping, payment by Paypal F&F. Happy to mark it at whatever customs value is requested for buyers outside the EU. I have bought, sold (payment by PP F&F), and traded many times here so I can provide references if requested. Thanks!
