First time owning Bill Kelso A2.. Standard size or custom size?

Hello everyone!

I just picked up a BK RW23380 in size 40 for a good bargain (330 USD I believe).

Current owner (not the first owner) says it's in Dark Seal Liberty Horsehide and due to lack of experience of owning a good A2, I do find the size a bit short?

The dims are:
Pit-to-pit 55cm (21.6 inch)
Sleeve length (full length to the end of ribs) 59cm (23.2 inch)
Shoulder to bottom hem 61cm (24 inch)
Back length 55cm (21.6 inch)

Is the standard size really this short? Or might it be custom size order?

The jacket actually fits myself nicely due to short height at only 5'3, most of the time the sleeves and length are too long for me when i wear other leather jackets but this particular one just sits nicely on my body. I'm just wondering if it's a standard size or a custom size order.

This is how it fits on me, I'm 5'3 and 153lbs. By far this is personally my favorite looking jacket that I currently have. Other jackets sits too long that they almost swallow my hands completely due to my height.

Perfect fit.

The sleeves and body appear short for a standard size. the rest of the mesurements appear fairly normal for a period correct size 40 A-2. Maybe a 40Short?
