Here is a picture of my Dad's 1943 Royal Enfield 'Flying Flea'
Used in the War in Arhnem most likely by Glider or parachutists during Operation Market Garden. These were designed to be parachuted and were lightweight motorbikes.

(Lt-Cmdr's and lovely and warm wool! The WW2 reefer Jacket is a lot nicer than the modern ones made out of flimsy light-weight fabric!)
Unfortunately I don't know anything about the owner,
but it would be amazing to find out,
I wonder whether I might be able to contact the Diplomatic Corp via their website and find out, I'm sure they must have records,
It's just amatter of whether they'd release any records to a member of...
