Too pricey bump? How about $75 shipped?

For Sale: WWII-era 10-button Pea Coat size 38-40

Okay, I found the hat documentation. My mistake as its neither a BR or Pike, but from a Japanese company called Mash Co. New, it costs $50 without shipping, so instead of $25, lets say $20.

For Sale: WWII-era 10-button Pea Coat size 38-40

Due to my self-imposed directive to only wear black, I've decided to part with my WWII-era 10-button Navy pea coat. This thing is a real beauty and it hurts a little to let it go. First, pictures: Okay, a little about the jacket. First, the bad: -Some light wear around the inside collar...

Questions About the United States Navy Peacoat

This may have been addressed/answered earlier in this thread but is Sterlingwear out of business or...? Their website is down and the customer service email I tried just bounces back to me. I have a very nice WWII 10-button peacoat that I want to replace with a nice black peacoat but want...

    Small Questions:

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but maybe? Has anyone ever purchased a jacket from eBay seller mintvintage66 out of England? Seems to have an ongoing stock of old leather jackets in seemingly good shape.

    WTB: Cafe Racer

Beautiful jacket but sadly I think it would be a tad too small Thanks for suggesting it though! I'm loving this community!

Thanks for that heads up. I was looking at it and then it was sold. Someone from here, maybe? ;)

    WTB: Cafe Racer

Diving into my first leather jacket and I'm enamored with the cafe racer cut. Looking for something in black, vintage/used preferred. Doesn't have to be spotless. Brooks, Schott, Kehoe, etc is sort of my reference. Also, nothing super heavy as I plan on wearing it during falls and springs. Oh...

Can a ripped/torn lining be easily repaired by a tailor?

    Help identifying brand?

So I emailed Lewis Leathers to see if they could confirm or deny that this jacket was one of theirs. They agreed that it looked an awfully lot like one of their jackets from the 80s but without the identifying tags, they couldn't confirm. C'est la vie.

    Help identifying brand?

It is a jacket I am looking at but am pretty hesitant because a) I don't know who made it and b) can't confirm from the photos that it is even genuine leather (though it probably is).

    Help identifying brand?

That Lewis Leathers is awfully close. The only differences I spot are the lack of the Lewis patch and the snaps that hold the flap in place. If it is not a Lewis Leathers, its a pretty good version of it.
