A new style of hat for me. This is what they call a Connery Cap in Hanna and I like it a lot.
It's a newsboy style 8 panel cap.
Harris tweed, brought in from Scotland. Versatile dark erringbone. Good shape. Very comfortable.
I do love the traditional Irish flat cap but I think I will get at...
And now I need to head back out so I think I will grab this limited edition wool cap also by Hanna., which was released for Christmas '23 but I thought had quite good long term potential.
How about this new arrival - a festive limited edition from Hanna Hats of Donegal (my goto).
Looking forward to sporting it out and about tomorrow. It's a very nice pattern.
Tilley Wanderer today. A step down in class from the Montecristo but stilla great hat. I've had this for five years ans it's as good as when it was new in the rain or in the sun. The fit was slightly big new, now perfect.
A no-frills hat that stands up to whatever comes your way.
On holiday in South West France. A great afternoon on the beach and I wore my Panama, which is a little too big yet but I can feel it is settling nicely.
Well this is somewhat cheating but I have this nice Panama on as I go about packing for a holiday to South Western France, where it will get some actual wear...
Same linen cap as yesterday. I've been away with my family for a few days in the West of Ireland. Heading home to Dublin and then to South West France next week for the rest of August. I'll bring my panama, one of these and probably my tilley wanderer
