    Nope...I disagree...I think that the paratroopers had just a bit more on the ball than anyone else. Give me a set of M42's or a set of class A's with either tha Ike Jacket or the 4 Pocket Jacket with some highly spitshined russet brown jump boots. Now that's style.

Lewis Nixon got his 4th combat star on that jump- he was an observer and the plane he was in...

    That particular C-47 could be brought up to airworthyness very easily, however one of the owners won't sign off on it. But it is in pretty good shape. When we went out, Don Bolce, who is an Air Corps veteran and who was the radio/Rebecca set operator, gave us a detailed tour- pretty cool...

    I too am involved with WWII Living History- I am with the E Co 2/506 PIR 101 AB group in California. Our unit is members of both the CHG and the RPS. My first post here, thought it would be appropriate as well!
