I typically get compliments and occasionally an envious look or comment such as “I wish I could pull off wearing a hat”, I honestly think people would like to wear hats again and dress classier but just lack the self confidence. I think people are afraid to change their style or to stand out.

I love the Montana crease, I’m considering a Montana crease for my first custom hat if the hatter is capable of it. A Montana crease with a bound pencil roll brim…hm..

Stetson Morgan, first, fine and fair day to pull out the felt. This stingy brim with a diamond crown was my first rabbit fur hat and the one to make me fall in love with hats.

I’m also interested in the craft. I love to try to learn how to make my own things but this seems out of my league, sadly…along with pipe carving/making. I just don’t see how people learn these things anymore with very few people doing them.
