    Now that's my kind of hat!:).I wonder if the humidity in the Jungle has something to do with the Celebrity contestants hats ageing faster than normal?.Akubra Hats don't respond well to artifical distressing-I think they prefer real wear and tear!.I'm amazed at the punishment Akubra's can take.

    I would love to go back to 6th July 1957 at the St Peter's Church fete in Woolton Liverpool,and watch the Quarrymen playing live and then eavesdrop on John Lennon and Paul McCartney meeting for the first time:).

    Apologies for describing it as 'Vintage'-I'm really not sure how old this hat is except that it is not a recent Akubra and it 'feels' like an old hat,any help dating this hat would be appreciated! Some quick pics of the inside(I don't know who Bill Schofield is-maybe a Cattleman!)
