I got one JUST like this for Christmas (Ebay). Even the clasp is exactly the same. Mine has no furrier's label in it, so I knew no way to date it except for the bakelite.
I take that because of my polycystic ovarian syndrome, for the anti-androgen properties. My skin wasn't too bad before, but I really don't break out at all since I started taking spiro. I didn't know it was used for acne treatment. There's something else it's used for to...I think a diuretic...
I want to! I found this: http://www.callofcthulhu.org.uk/index.php, but it looks like it'd probably take a while to get in on a game. Also, I saw that Chaosium has published a Los Angeles sourcebook, ooooh...
I prefer Buy It Now, too. I don't wake up at 3 AM to snipe, though--I do it way ahead of time so I don't forget about it. I just put in the highest highest highest amount I'd conceivably pay, usually higher than I expect anyone to go. If I still lose then, I just think it went for way more...
Using an auction sniper to bid your maximum amount works well. I usually win that way. I think it's better to do that instead of ever bidding during the auction, because then other bidders are unaware of you and what you'd be willing to pay--bidding during just gets you caught up in bidding...

I've heard of it and its popularity, but I never played it. I played short scenarios that involved The Silver Twilight, but somehow I never made the Golden Dawn connection. Silly me! My...
Oh, wow, Horatio sounds interesting--such a classic CoC type of character!
My character: Gwendolyn Cornell. Newspaper love advice columnist, mid-twenties. 5'3", average in build, brunette hair cut into a fashionable bob. Much too saucy for her own good, and takes a perverse delight in...
Badluck, I think your plan sounds good. The only thing that I'd like to add is that I think we should have an element of challenge. Not just the challenge of being creative, but that obstacles (whether they're physical, sanity-threatening, or clues to a mystery) be set before us. And that I...
Haaa, I always thought it was the same one! I think I get geek girl points for knowing enough about it to be confused by it, though! :D
Oooh, found on Wikipedia: He (of GURPS) is often mistaken for a different Steve Jackson, a British gamebook and video game writer who co-founded Games...
